Scott Schechinger is a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant with more than 20 years of experience advising plan sponsors on the design, governance and oversight of institutional investment and retirement programs. He works with corporations, nonprofits and institutions to develop and manage their defined contribution and defined benefit plans, deferred compensation plans, as well as endowment and foundation assets.
Scott provides strategic guidance on fiduciary and governance best practices, investment strategy, vendor selection, plan design and employee engagement, asset allocation and de-risking strategies, and others. He partners closely with fiduciary investment committees to help improve plan outcomes, mitigate risk and enhance participant retirement readiness.
Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC®) designations and has successfully completed Level I of the CFA Program.
Scott is married to his wife Andrea, and three children: Alexander (12), Penelope (10), and Emily (7). In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
